Great video, fantastic cottages & church. The birth place of my paternal greatgrandparents on my grandmothers side, William Millard (1865) & Sarah Heberden (1869) who lived at Old Alresford after marrying in 1889.

You’ve beaten us to East Meon. We covered it today. I’ve been waiting for the better weather when the daffodils grace the banks of the church. Mine was more of a personal trip, having lived there in the early ‘50s. Nothing changes very much in the village, mainly because most of the houses are listed. You got further out around the area, so it was nice to see things from a different perspective. We had lunch in the Izaac Walton and as you say it was originally called the New Inn. Our video will be out in a few days time.

Thanks Lionel. Look forward to seeing your video. The snowdrops that were in a private field (visible over the fence) to the West of the footpath that goes behind the church were amazing.

Another fantastic video Mr Logan. Entertaining, informative and captured the beauty of rural Hampshire. I hope your mate Dave gave you a few pork scratchings at the pub! Looking forward to the marvels of spring. Thank you both.

We had to postpone our Muddy Dog Challenge until 2023 as it turned out that Fiver was competing in an obedience show that day. Still, at least we have got plenty of time to practice now!

Thanks for another interesting and beautiful video. Logan looked very hang dog at being accused of unruliness in the church! I wonder if Halnaker Lane has any connection at all with Halnaker Mill in Sussex? Does Fiver get separate walks from Logan? I look forward to the Muddy Dog video should you ever film and release it!!

Thanks Jean. Fiver & Logan usually have their walk together but I think I will always stick to having one on a "video walk" .... I would definitely need both hands free with both of them!
