That solo is right up there with Lester Young's 'Lady Be Good' if you spent a lifetime tinkering with it, you couldn't make is any better.

Although I also love your 22 other master-classes, this could well be your best yet. Thanks so much!!!! After 23 online classes (and 6 years of private Skype lessons), I sincerely believe that you are the best jazz piano teacher on the planet!

Solidly science-based notions of prepared and up-prepared strokes, Velocity as opposed to "force" and keyspeed as the generator of dynamic contrast. Arm weight as opposed to the finger as the generator of much pianistic action. Totally in sync with Gyorgy Sandor's approach, which I use. Also, that performance in the opening sequence was one of the most interesting, varied, and artistically satisfying renditions of yours I have yet heard. Nice! MBB

Mechanically it was correct explanation cannot be better. However how to use that with combination with emotional performance soul performance. What comes first the chicken or egg. All music teachers were talking about it and no one has the answer. WhereverIt’s nice to remind students that it’s happening congratulation Mr. Frank

hi, thanks for writing) IMO, the artistic soul feeling comes first and the technical aspects move the music into the physical realm using techniques like these) what do you think?
