Wow I'm really loving this software. As I was watching this video I had an idea how to design something to cut on the Gatton. Dave, keep them coming you are explaining it well to where this old man can understand.

Hahaha. Thanks for watching Solar Man. I think you will always be a little "off center".

Dave, more good information. This program sure is easier to learn than fusion 360. Thanks for the tutorials.

Very interesting software Dave. Sure looks great for quick parts. I am guessing they have a lot of add on modules you can purchase but this is hard to beat if just doing 2D shapes. I have Bobcad which has built in CAM but this would be interesting to try. Thanks for the video, Gary

Thanks for watching Gary. As a long time SolidWorks user most free software packages don't impress me much but this DesignSpark Mechanical 3D software is really easy to use.

I have to agree that it is very impressive software. I did notice you can add on lots of modules for a cost though. I may try the free version just for fun. Not sure how the files will import into my software for programing but should work. Biggest issue is making sure you retain the XY zero position. As some software can loose that. But I do model up a lot of things that I do not even plan on machining. Take care, Gary
