You know, the Space Jams were okay, Back in Action was fun, but who are we kidding? THIS is what we all wanted all along. A fully animated, Looney Tunes only film with a coherent storyline that brings the feel of classics era shorts with a modern sensibility. My only complaint is that it's July already, and we haven't heard of a US release yet. I just hope they don't choose a release date where it can compete with too much.

@@pietrolupo2717 NONE of the Looney Tunes projects deserved to be destroyed by WB. We weren't talking about this for the longest time because most of us just assumed it was deleted as well. This movie was only possible because, unlike Wile E Coyote and Bye Bye Bunny, WB was able to sell this movie to another production company without getting greedy and raising the asking price. Even though said asking price was still twice as much as they would have got from corporate welfare.

The animation here is so breathtaking! Between its great fluidity, excellent timing, and enjoyable expressions, this definitely screams "Looney Tunes!" And even without understanding the dialogue, the plot sounds very fun with how it parodies classic sci-fi films. I just hope we'll get an American release date soon.

Wow, the animation in this looks gorgeous! I definitely see so much influence from the classic era. I noticed the Chuck Jones-style Grinchy smile that the villain does. And, I absolutely love to see the wacky version of Daffy! I can also see some Mars Attacks influence here too, in addition to all of the 50's and 60's sci-fi references. I can't wait to see this one!

I get a "Monsters Vs. Aliens" vibe from this, which makes sense because both are animated slapstick comedies inspired on the science fiction epics from the 50s and 60s. I don't need to say I'm hyped beyond belief.

The animation is a combo of LTC, the Clampett shorts and the 2D segments in the first Space Jam. Can’t wait for it!!

As a German I'm so exited so hear Gerald Schaale (Mort in 'Madagascar') as Daffy and Santiago Ziesmer (SpongeBob) as Porky on the big screen! Their both masters of their craft and have such good chemistry. The movie itself looks like the punch in the gut that WBD deserved after the whole Animation Extermination thing. I. Can't. Wait!

I still miss Dieter Kursawe as the german voice of Daffy as I grew up with in the 80ies, 90ies. He didn't really try to mimic the original voice, but gave Daffy his own character. He focused more on his posh, arrogant and classy side, less on the weird, lunatic side.

It looks amazing! From the 2D animation to the characters and cel shading to the fast paste CG scenes to the hilarious humour, this definitely should stand out as a true classic. #dickthepig

If he was still alive and in charge today, Leon Schlesinger probably wouldn't have given a crap about this movie as long as it made him money. People forget that the man didn't care about cartoons or even art in general. He just knew that those animated shorts printed fame and success for the studio, and he let them cook without much interference.... But I will give him this, he's better than the Warner Bros executives, today. It's a miracle this movie got made under their management.

Lots of people said that the heyday of The Loony Tunes has passed, but they were mistake. The Loony Tunes are still going full speed in this brand new movie and a whole new generation will be entertained by them.

You know after the disaster of Coyote VS Acme being laid off I glad this movie is saved and heading our way and the fact were getting a fully animated theatrical Looney Tunes movie is a huge step in the right direction this has wonderful animation even better than the HBO max series I am really looking forward to this movie I will say the only nitpick is Eric Bauza as Porky although works well with Daffy just doesn't fit well as Porky despite that I still looking forward to this and hopefully this will save 2D animation ❤

Hey Dave, perhaps you may know about what I'm about to tell you. While GFM Animation is still handling overseas distribution, here in the US, a company called Ketchup Entertainment will put the movie out. Now maybe WB can give Coyote vs, Acme to one of these distributors.

It's gonna be really interesting to see exactly when this will release outside of Germany. September might not be the best time for it to come out considering both transformers one and the wild robot are coming out a week apart from each other. Those are definitely big movies for sure! December could be a tricky time as well

I got some really big news! “The Day The Earth Blew Up” is coming to the US soon, and it will be the first “Looney Tunes” animated film to be distributed by another production company which is not WB, but it’s called Ketchup Entertainment, and I’m not kidding! Ketchup Entertainment is the first indie film distributor to put out this movie which is not WB.

Oh I so can't wait to see this in english. Looney Tunes was long overdue for an animated theatrical movie. And don't tell me the two Space Jams and Looney Tunes Back in Action count because they don't. It's Live action/animation hybrids they don't count as full animation. Plus I am so glad they sticked to doing a traditional hand drawn animation style that sticks to their original style of the golden Looney Tunes days and none of that CGI animated crap there's too much of them in theaters these days anyways.

Have you ever heard of the Lokney Tunes movie "Pepe Le Pew: The City of Light", while it didn't make it very far, the script has recently found its way into the public. Its basically a heist movie staring Pepe, Penelope and more obscure characters like Cecil turtle, Claude cat, and Spike & Chester. Its amazing how much charm is oozing from the script alone and jt really could have saved Pepe.

I 120% agree. Marvin is my favourite and I was looking forward to this movie because I thought it would be guaranteed to feature him as the main villain like in the 2003-6 Duck Dodgers series. A sci-fi film with Marvin hasn’t been done before, just animated shorts. I hope we see him as a twist villain towards the middle-end which has been done a few times in the past. I agree it’s wrong to have a sci-fi plot and without Marvin, especially with the title of this movie.

The movie will not be cancelled. This was announced months ago. WB have sold distribution, the US distributors are still finalizing a date.

Just because it’s in German doesn’t mean you can’t watch it. The dialogue is unimportant. Appreciate the art and visual comedy.

This is awesome great to see 2-d afain i dont hate 3-d but j sometimes feel like in cgi amimation you cant really do much like strech a caraters leg arm or neck and sometimes nothing zany happens,anway i am not a 3d hater just pefer 2d from time to time the movie looks awsome i hopenit gets relesed in the fall soon

I hope this will start a resurgence of 2D animation; I'm tired of CGI; it is generic and ugly at times, and we have annoying characters like minions and boss babies. I hope this will save 2D in America by being successful and showing those people that we love 2d and want it back.
