Thanks for that. Nice lesson. Interestingly I just incorporated a small splash cymbal on my kit and have been doing a pre crash too. Sounds really effective due to the big pitch difference. Good to see you come south.

Thanks man! It's awesome that you think that. I've always had someone else do the audio for the videos (including the Drum Central stuff) so I'm having to build up my collection at the moment. Currently, I'm running the following OH - Oktava MK012 Cardioid - in an X/Y config BD - Beta 52a SD - Beta 57a I run that all into a Behringer XR18 interface into Cubase Elements. From there I just eq to taste as some compression and a little reverb on the snare. I'm actually to shoot a video all about the studio setup now that I've got everything sorted and I'm in phase 2 of the renovations. I'll let you know when that's out! Hope you are well dude D
