We live about 2 hours from Fairmont and take our Tenwek Hospital volunteers there for Mara Safari. I have been there at least 20 times and love it. They closed down for over a year due to the flood but the improvements are much better. If you guys are still in the area come check out our Hospital in Bomet.

If you want another great adventure while in Kenya we just climbed Mt. Kenya Oct 20-24. We had a great time but the last day was very tough. Got up at 2am, started the summit climb at 3am and didn’t get to the last lodge until 8pm having to walk through think mud for last 90 min.

There are a few options, the most efficient one is to take a bush plane from the Nairobi Wilson Airport to the Masai Mara. Otherwise Fairmount do offers road transfer.

I think the reason why lunch is nit buffet is tgat most tourists dont do lunch. Only you guys do lunches. Mist people just go for 2 meals. Breakfast and dinner. I worked in a tourist hotel before
