Diani Beach's Most Fun Restaurant / Funky Monkey Restaurant

Welcome to the Funky Monkey Restaurant located on the main street in Diani Beach, Kenya. This restaurant is the perfect place to stop on your way to Ukunda Airport of to eat a bit and have some fun and maybe even have a few drinks during their DJ evenings.
They offer all kinds of food from burgers, to steak, seafood and more but after having lunch there we cannot insist enough on the necessity to try their Cheesy Chilli Praws, one of the best appetizers we have ever had. And this dish was followed closely by their strawberry cheesecake which was the best cheesecake we've had in Africa!
No matter if you are looking for a good restaurant for date night or a fun place to go out with some friends, Funky Monkey is the place to be in Diani Beach!

I'm glad you went there. It's one of my favorites. It is especially fun on Wednesday nights on Salsa night. The DJ, Evan Rhodes, is actually from the thumb area of Michigan, near where I am from. I love their tacos, and their nachos. I will HAVE to try their cheesy shrimp and their cheesecake this weekend. Yummm.

So guys, you are now really making me home sick! I had mentioned before for the two of you to check out the Funky Monkey and so glad that it did not disappoint!!! It is a regular spot for me and you should also mention that they have Taco Tuesday there! The Liquor store next door is by far the best in Diani Beach with a vast selection of wine and spirits from around the world at a reasonable price. Keep up the great Vlogs guys!!!

Its very difficult to find good cakes in Kenya you have to really search for the sweet spots, many visitors have complained about it and I hope Kenyans are learning to make top-tier cakes
