Morning it’s so nice to see a professional at work I could strip the bike down but it wouldn’t look like a bike when it’s put back together and be some bits missing me thinks 😂😂but I’d love to be able to do things like that can’t wait for the next instalment and the finished bike them forks look complicated anyway great video take care

I'm not a Harley fan but I'm interested in old machinery & enjoying this series of videos. Appreciate you doing these videos as I know only too well, it takes much much longer to do any work when filming at the same time.

Not to mention editing, doing the talk-over and finding the right music to match it. I'd do the same if I only had the patience and film/edit interests and abilities of these vloggers. If you're good, there's pocketmoney to be made here.

Just ignore the name on the tank, it's simply an interesting bike project. Certainly does make it a longer job, but on the positive side, if I forget how any of it goes back together I can just watch my own videos😂😂😂😂

So far so good Andrew. No botches yet but a few badly fitted bits (exhaust, gearbox adjuster etc) and some odd screws and bolts. Cheers

Great stuff. It looked a nice straightforward process to remove the engine. No doubt aided by being air cooled & only the basic electrics. Having a bike lift is a real bonus. I hate having to work on my hands & knees, when I have stuff to do my bikes.

Hi Martin, they are realy basic machines. Getting the bike lift was a game changer for me. I'm 73 and getting up and down every few minutes when they're on the floor just isn't doable any more😂😂😂

Good stuff. I did wonder why the hole in the middle of the clutch actuating arm , never seen it used before, Also the pressure switch on the bottom of the pump, my (gauge) is on the top, I must have a ferkel about to identify how mine has been blanked off.

Thanks for watching. As far as I'm aware, Harley only fitted the hand assist to the WLCs but they all seem to have the hole in the arm to take it. Probably just easier to have one part than two different ones. I've had three 45s and they all had the oil switch on the bottom of the pump. Cheers.

hand assist clutch. of course, completely missed that one, also the oil feed pressure gauge on mine is on top but routed from the bottom of the pump. I/m learning more about my 45" watching the vid's than looking at what I have in the garage !. keep up the 'educational' work.@@old-n-Goldie
