The eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed that the gameplay on screen is actually the recording of the race. My streaming/recording PC decided to have a meltdown so the gameplay recording was lost. Thankfully I record the facecam/audio on my racing PC so was at least able to salvage the video. Apologies, but all you're missing really is the virtual mirror :)

Fun race to watch you suffer through. 😅 We also missed the incident penalty notifications and text buffer. Interesting how we never see the screen stutters that you’re experiencing.

I’ve been getting bad stutter when I activate push to talk the past few weeks. I haven’t been able to hunt down the issue yet. I can’t think of anything that changed besides Fanalab drivers.

The lites are genuinely one of my favorite cars on the service to drive, they’re just so fun and aggressive. Racing online has been a mixed bag down in my IR however so I tend to just goof off with AI and hot lap with em! Glad ya had fun! Could be fun to see ya hop in one again some time!

We are total opposite I thrive in high downforce setups and lack in low grip. Good thing about the SFL starts are you can floor it and not worry about spinning the rears. F4 you can’t do that.

Same man. 2.3k Formula here, always top split. Sports car? 1.6k at best. Better at Miata and GR, but GT3, no chance. I personally think part of it is my FOV. Single Screen, so i can see position of the formula cars way better and use the full track better. Someday I'll get triples ha. I do love me some LMP2 and SR10 though!

SFL are my favorites right now! I've found that they're especially strong compared to other formula cars in terms of damage. I always check with my damage button, because a lot of the time they can take a surprising hit and come out clean.

Ive been racing the mx5 for a couple of weeks and im enjoying it. Is the formula beginner series considered harder then race cars? By the looks of this exelent race they go faster but have alot more grip

Formula cars drive very differently to sports cars. In some aspects they’re easier and others they’re harder. The worst thing is their fragility, most forceful contact results in a dnf. They’re super fun though.

@@velouriumcamper0753ill stick with the mx5 for this season and try formula next then. I almost poo my pants when someone is close. I Did a 2th place finish today though and back up above 2.50 🙂

Are you getting the device/USB disconnect sound when you get stutters? I was having an issue with stutters in iRacing, and might have a fix if you have the same issue.

@@FilipSundI think I got mine fixed. I swapped out my 3080ti for my 6800xt. Mind you I stress tested my 3080ti in my other PC with no issues it just seems some odd hardware conflict between my 8700k system and the 3080ti.

I also have a lot of stutters lately 😕 still hold a good 100fps when it's stutter, can't find the problem 😢. How did you solved this? I have a 7900xtx with 7800x3d

@@loophole3526 Wierd. I also use a 8700k but with a 3080 and have no stutter. Due to 7680x1440 resolution it's struggling though.

It depends on the series. Maybe 30 mins or so on average before a race. The races you see are usually all I do 👍

Whats the significance of your car number when gaining/loosing iRating?

If you were car number 1, that means you're the highest ranked driver on the grid. So, to gain iRating in that scenario you'd have to place pretty high. On the flip side, if you were car number 25 the pressure is off to some degree and the expectation on you is lower. 😁

Pretty sure crew chief describes drivers as dodgy based on the amount of incident points they have had in this race, not their safety racing?

I thought it was their SR. I've had it at the start of a race before. Hopefully someone from crew chief will see this and clarify 😁

​@@davecamytit's based on location, ie network connection, out of the box. But you can add in extra rules for iRating, account age and series Division. I haven't added support for safety rating but maybe one day. Maybe like 2 full points below the driver, once licenses are taken into account, something like that. But of course you knew all that already because you diligently read the post on the crewchief forum 😜

I have stopped watching the video after 8 minutes. To get there I had 20 seconds adds to start the video. 25 seconds after around 3 minutes and a 50 seconds adds at 7 minuten. I know you make money of it but this is unwatchable and I won’t look and follow you no longer. Make watching your video’s fun again.

I've just checked. One ad 6 mins in and not another until the 22 minute mark. And, that's just a potential you may be shown an ad, not a guarantee. No idea what's happening but not at my end. I have just watched my video on a separate Google account to double check for myself. I had no ad at the start, got one at 5 mins then another at 19 min.
