Dave is just so good..... I'll never forget the immensity of his playing when I saw him at ACM in Guildford sometime between '05-'07. I distinctly remember, having been a long time fan, that the in-person experience of hearing him in a room was so much more dramatic and intense than any recorded solo or playing I'd heard him on.
