What a hunt! Everything about it was just simply awesome. The buck following the doe, the sound of the crunching in the leaves, his deep grunt, The way he walked in slightly quartering too, you waiting till he was almost out of the frame but at a perfect angle, following him at full draw, the sweet shot, the way he stopped and stood there, the growl as the lethality hit him, and then the sound of a old, mature warrior crashing in the leaves and dying hard...... this type of experience is why we do it. The flashbacks was an awesome video edit as well. Excellent, excellent, excellent hunt.

Thank you, for not attempting to stop him with a grunt. That is one of the dumbest things and biggest mistakes I see hunters make when a deer is under 20 to 25 yards. Congrats.

I swear, I think deer can see a scent stream ? Maybe it's just with thier nose following scent trail from ground up the tree and then they look right at ya ? They are amazing creatures.
