So many gems in the story of King David but the biggest lesson I got from him is humanity. At the end of the day God chooses us not because of who we are, but because of who He is and what He desires to achieve in and through us. Imperfection and flaw is very much apart of who we are as human beings but when we surrender ourselves to God He is able to utilize those imperfections to the glory and honor of His Holy name❤️

However, David surpasses all expectations. This recording feels more like a movie than a play, with breathtaking 180-degree stages, stunning projections, and seamless transitions between live action and video backgrounds. The lighting is the best I've seen, perfectly blending the sets and screen. The music is outstanding, from powerful choirs to memorable solos like Samuel's song. Each character's recurring theme adds depth, and the worship moments resonate deeply. The narrative is fast-paced, covering lesser-known stories like David's time at the house of the prophets and his battles while on the run from Saul. Everyone involved brought their A-game-acting, singing, writing, directing, costume, and stage design are all top-notch. This production is biblically accurate and theologically rich, making the story of David come alive. My whole family, including our 3-year-old, loved it so much that we watched it twice in three days. Imagine watching it live. We will definitely be there in 2025
