I love the first segment where they both talked about communication skills & behavior/keeping it real vs. being rude/being professional etc... Long time subscriber have been watching David for years. I know that he has no filter and he speaks his mind which can be nice sometimes. There were situations where I think to myself he could have reword what he said differently in videos/vlogs. I have been wanting to say this for so long but couldn't find the right way to say it so I'm glad Mariel found out and is helping David with this. Keep it up you two! :)

When they mentioned that David’s new hobby is car washing, all I could think about is Kim Jong Illah singing Rose Royce in some busted ass English, wearing booty shorts, and rolling around on some quad skates.

David! I've been following you for god knows how long, and I've always looked up to you. As somebody that is in small apartment, struggling to pay the bills and currently pursuing a career that makes me happy...you've inspired me to keep working and be grateful for what I've got. I've been in a rut lately mentally, but you've given me that boost of inspiration and kick in the ass that I needed. You are awesome.

Also I think at 24:00 I think Mariel is talking about what’s called a inferiority complex. I suffered from this most of my life and it connects a lot to needing confirmed positive affirmation. It also stems from the idea that instead of going through a hard time that you personally are a failure not just you failed it something but you are a failure. Like when she was talking about school I also had trouble in school for a lot of reasons but I always just thought I was dumb.

I relate a lot to david because i am also very blunt and honest with how i react and confront situations. And i always end up telling women i fuck with that they let trivial things affect them cause they are too damn soft. And i understand all people have different ways of dealing with situations. But i find myself so frustrated because i want people around me to not be as affected by things that shouldn’t be that big of deal. i gotta remember maybe it is a big deal to them. Even if it isnt for me💆🏾♂️

So the part where you are talking about how your parents were always grateful for everything they have, I feel like I can really relate with same with my parents like my parents never wanted us to see the struggles they went through and also not showing us if we were poor or not but there was always one thing my father was always afraid of it was failing as the man of the house

Ahaha, I'm relating so hard to Mariel's self negativity vs outward positivity towards others. And then I just hate myself more that I'm not more grateful and positive about the things I do have. Seeing a lot of trolls leave comments begging David or Bart/Geo etc. to comment on the tiff situation. I’ve been watching JK for a long time, and remember quite clearly the Olivia debacle too. Yall need to go read what David said about that situation then, it was the perfect explanation. None of y’all actually know these people so stop being melodramatic

jesus christ, do not bring up the olivia situation to compare to this because david and jk were hORRIBLE to olivia and sent all sorts of hate to her. she went to court and WON. she was in the right about not being paid and being pushed out cause joe broke up with her. olivia was innocent. david, on the other hand, was not.

Hey David, I really enjoyed this episode. The one's with you and Mariel feel personal and the vibe is just very lax. It's like I'm hanging out with my aunt and uncle , as sad as that sounds cause I don't have many irl friends. Anyways a lot of interesting topics where discussed during this episode. I was wondering if next time you and Mariel could discuss the value of hard work, and how to learn to make goals in your life and stay motivated. From your personal experience , I'm sure a lot of us who are negative or struggle with our own goals , could learn much from you. Thanks :)

Mariel is so smart , bilingual and very well traveled. I love how she can laugh at herself and is able to self reflect. I think she would make a great mommy oneday, from the way she is able to show kindness and affirmation to others. She is a great dog mom too, from what I see on Instagram. There is nothing wrong with spoiling your fur babies.😀 I pray that oneday you will find the courage to step out and do what makes you happy without the fear of failure. You can do it! . Comment here with all the wonderful things you love about Mariel.

I agree that most times we are all just seeing things from our own perspective, sometimes the things we say even though we mean we’ll can be hurtful to others. Yes, corporate America is all about not offending and not having a strong opinion about everything and to just be neutral. E-mails are can be a war zone when you have passive aggressive micro mangers always checking in and giving you feedback on every little thing. So over that type of management.

Nice to know I’m not the only who confused. I have trouble understanding relationships. My family really chaotic. My Dad had different three children including me with three different women. My mom parents got divorced. I’m the middle child on my dad side. My youngest brother is a jr.? And people are straight up toxic towards me could I have trouble understanding. So I be turn off from pursuing people. It gotten better though, I got a new job in marketing and they’re more understanding.
