His talent was godlike, but as a person he had a massive ego and a superiority complex. But I think most people wouldn’t be able to stay humble and grounded after doing what Prince did. Kevin Smith had an amazing story about working with Prince, but he had it taken off KZbin after his death, because it’s a negative story, though more insightful than everyone elses stories.

Chris Voss, a former FBI negotiator was interviewed for Ladders and said that Howard Stern is "one of the great communicators on the planet." He went on to say that "So many celebrities will not go on the Howard Stern Show because they know that Howard is going to get them to say stuff that no one else can get them to say." Howard is the best interviewer I've ever seen due to his prep, curiosity, and genuine interest in the person.

This guy did a segment on In Living Color, where I laughed harder then I ever laughed at anything, before or since. He did that Fat Back somebody or something where he is singing at a guys funeral. I once had a kickass, dressed in a killer leather jacket, well-spoken pretty older gal sit a group of... for lack of a better term "the smoker kids" down at a wedding to "tell us a story about Prince." And just like this she recounted a tale... She had taught him in high school... (we all were already biting our nails) said he was a student in her class. Said she would stand all the time while teaching the class. As a young woman with a new class in the city, she was trying to add to the psychology of respect. Apparently often he would go sit in her chair when she wasn't looking, and she would notice and just kind of let him hang out because she said he would just sit there, really relaxed. Said he was really funny and kinda quiet in class. Also said all he did was play guitar when he wasn't in class, and that he could also play basketball like you've never seen - just move across the court all low to the ground, highly coordinated with his hands and the ball. (The Chappelle sketch is true!!) Said you could tell at a very early age he was extremely talented, and something was different about him. After 20 minutes of details and a few hasty questions answered, we knew she was telling the truth. We were all left speechless and grateful.
