I've never been a fan of neighbours but it was good to hear when they finally moved along and caught up with the way things were actually going in the country with LGBTQI+ rights in Australia and same sex marriage. Shows like this were strictly taboo when it came to anything to do with gay characters, usually making them feel like a minority, or getting beat up/ picked on all the time.
