What?!!!!? Someone thinks "To Be With You" is "cute"? TBWY is a beautiful love song that expresses the deep desire to share meaningful emotions with a special person. That is not "cute", that is romantic, heartfelt, and something all of us long for. Anyway, this particular video shows another SPECTACULAR performance by David. His voice is so consistently beautiful and his stage presence is endearing, yet professional. I just can't get enough of him!

David is already proving his critics wrong. This young man can flat out sing. He has 2 ballads on the CD. I love them. And I wouldn't characterize TBWY as "cute". It's a wonderful song about waiting for the right person to come along in life. Something all of us can relate to. But anyway, I love this performance. David is really comfortable on that stage now. I think he's starting to understand how much we love him!

David has had to become comfortable with being the object of so much adoration. He is , by nature, extremely humble and not "about" himself. He had no idea that he would take the country by storm on AI, and become the most talked about (pro and con) figure in pop culture for the entire year. He is starting to "feel his oats" , and he seems to feel its OK to be adored, which he is. He's definitely more relaxed , and it shows in these and other performances. Hes a great kid and a fantastic singer.

Watch the video of David singing "Shop Around " and then watch this again. The transformation in just 9 months is astounding. Both performances are great, but his confidence and stage presence has grown in quantum leaps. He will continue to grow, of course. By this time next year, he will be the undisputed king of popular music. He's almost there already

Well I couldn't disagree more. That is my absolute favorite song on the album (as it is for many, including his step-grandmother - we discussed it at the tree lighting lol). And I think the blend of his voice with Kara's is magical. But the cool thing is everyone has different favorites, which just shows how great every song is!

UGH I hope not!!! I LOVE David, but TBWY is one of my least favorites on the album. I know a lot of his fans like it because it is cute, but if you look past the romantic lyrics, Kara's voice sounds soooo inadequate next to his. I guess almost anyone would sound terrible next to David, though. I still like the song because "bad" for David is still amazing, but America has already seen him do enough slow songs. He needs to prove that he isn't just a ballad guy (to people who aren't his fans).
