I feel privileged to have heard Sir David Attenborough over the years of my younger self. I am now entering senior status, 79, I am thrilled that he is still alive and that I can hear him while he is still alive. Thank you for your wisdom, for sharing your knowledge in a distinctive and unique way. There is no one at present to replace you.

Sir David Attenborough is my hero in so many ways. His love of Mother Earth and his contributions on saving her have motivated me over my years to do my part. Not to mention the memories I have watching every documentary or talk he has ever done over the decades with my Mother who is now 90 years old. To this day, we still sit together to marvel at this magnificent man and his beautiful voice to get transported and educated about our wonderful world who is suffering now. Thank you kind Sir, we love you so much!

When I moved from Ohio to Danmark in 2006 I was to say the least, shocked at how little meat of all kinds they eat here. Meat is not the main feature of meals. Surprisingly, it didn't take long to not only adapt but to enjoy this lifestyle of eating. You can of course eat meat with every meal but in smaller amounts while the other food groups make up the complete meal. There is no shortage of meat here whatsover, Danmark is the biggest producer and exporter of pork on the planet, chicken, duck, beef, fish and seafood are all abundant here too. It takes a while to get used to it and to realize while nutrition from meat is important and necessary it's not so much needed in huge amounts. Last year the farmer's field behind our house was a test field to see the effects/loss of harvest by using zero pesticides, the harvest was unbelievably good.

I cry everyday I hear Attenboro talk about how mankind truly are unknowingly self absorbed and have grown up feeling entitled. If I had access to National Geographic geographic growing up, my life choices would have chosen a different path. The problem is US. People care more about texting with their heads buried in the ground and say, " I didnt cause all this damage, let the next generation deal with it " well...welcome to reality, look around you. David doesn't sugar coat anything. Good for him. Bless him😢

I had a moment like this.. He truly is a special being, And yes, a treasure for the English, who seem quite doomed due to their current insanely greedy care takers. But, I remember watching an interview only a few short years ago where he was asked what can we all do.. it all seems so negative and hopeless! He said; focus on the WASTE! Please focus on the WASTE! I was so relieved, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I have many moments in misery about this world, and I find it easy to love humanity, but very difficult to like humans. The Earth is precious and miraculous, it is also impermanent. Don't cry. Huge numbers of senseless Americans and selfish greedy humans are going to die in the next two decades. We only have intervals of 100 years here at a time, how can everything we want physically (material assets) hold such great importance to our existence? Our lives are fleeting. And quicker than we realise. Our Focus Needs To Be Teaching The Children How To Live Kindly And Co Exist. Now. Don't be sad, realise your actions determine your path and your karma is not their karma. When I became Vegan I remember driving past trucks filled with animals being taken to be killed and a slaughter yard that was only a 20 minute drive from where I lived.. My little daughter would say to me; Mummy how can I not be upset when I see these trucks and drive past this horrible place? I told her; you realise with what we are doing, how we eat, how we live, we don't contribute to this! People have the choice. YOU CHOOSE. You choose to take part in the madness or you are part of the solution. I endid up telling her to stick her middle finger up at the trucks and the slaughter yard as we would pass. Then we would both smile. 😊

Why do people mess with the original post , making it tacky and tasteless, this post was perfect without the interference with added stupid animal sounds and fake buzzing of bugs , background music , why don't humans leave shit alone you people mess a perfect post , when all you needed was the voice of Sir David Attenborough's unique voice , God Bless you Sir David Attenborough for your life's work , I have watched you most of my life as far as I can remember. You are a treasure to the natural world , you are the voice the natural has needed , without your wisdom I am afraid the natural world would have suffered a greater loss, Thank You for bringing the world together and open our eyes to the damage we have done and unfortunately continue to do. What a fantastic human being hi is! I agree with R. Richards comment, something is deeply wrong when a man like this has so few views and comments. People just refuse to hear how much danger we are in. It may mean that they would have to take some form of action. They would far rather argue weather this is actually happening, despite the enormous amount of clear evidence. By the time the arguments are no longer possible, it will be too late!

A GENIUS we all need to listen to, and take seriously......So many people get into the apathetic attitude of " The World is all going to hell, so wtf can I do?"......But, they are not getting the big picture, because the Reality of existence in this Universe works, is that we are all related, to create the life path we all walk on..We have the power to influence the course of history....indeed, we DETERMINE THE COURSE OF HISTORY......Lakota tribal understanding, reflects this in a popular saying they have that expresses this truth clearly, it is "MITAKUYE O'YASIN"....meaning, 'We are all related, ( to our Lakota ancestors)"..... It IS a Lakota tribal way of understanding Life, evolving in the northern Plains tribes, rugged buffalo hunters, who had never seen any White Man , or a horse, or a gun.... before the coming of the invaders to their lands, so they were kinda "on their own".......living in the high Rockies....quite exclusive, ...... but their profound understanding of our Connection to the Universe, applies universally to all people.......People think they are isolated..but nothing could be further from the truth...We are more connected than we even know.......Most people think they have NO connection to any life forms, let alone, a connection to things like rocks, plants, fungi, birds, fish, snakes, insects, Stars, Clouds, Rain, Water, distant planets , etc.....etc......We are told..wrongly, that life is a straight line..with a "beginning" and "an end"...... and that's it.......But the REALITY...of Existence, in this Universe....is that all life , IS connected...not a line, but a CIRCLE.......THAT is the big clue, as to our role in nature......being so connected with nature....Our job, now, is to 'remember" of who we are, where we are, how we are, and why we are...We are the Earth ...We are the Sky....... being children, of Earth......and Sky....It is science, not religiion.....Earth, and Sky, ARE BOTH NEEDED , for any life to exist......so, we ARE ALL "CHILDREN OF EARTH AND SKY.".........As soon as we realize the truth, that we are all a reflection of all Life on the planet, then, we will take LIFE seriously, and not be so careless to just throw it away......Suicide, is not logical, including collective suicide, which is what creating pollution is.......Native American Native American Medicine Man, named Rolling Thunder....spoke of our Connection to All Life..for over 40 years......He said, "War is the worst pollution."...I think Sir David would have REALLY enjoyed a meeting with Rolling Thunder....as they both understand the Connection we have with All Life....Rolling Thunder is now in the Spirit World..born in 1911...he was a real "old timer," lol........ We still have the blessing of having this great and beautiful man, Sir David......TO HELP GUIDE US...... TO SAVE OUR LIVES.... to save the EARTH..I wrote a song, about Sir David.......called "Have you listened to the Knight?" He IS a TRUE KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR......I WILL LOVE AND ADMIRE HIM FOREVER..... .

This planet is our Home, people need to care for it like they would their own four walls. We may be individuals against big corps and careless u protective laws, but we the minority make up the majority if only we fight for change, for all of our collective future.

Mr. Attenborough - I am a baby boomer. I’m sorry my generation was so selfish. Speaking for myself, I believed in peace, protested the war in Vietnam, and so forth. When I was younger, I worked for peace, supported environmental causes and was actually quietly proud that I never bought a brand new car. But we failed. Ourselves. And the planet. I’m so ashamed of my failure, our failure. I’ve watched you for over 50 years and I’m deeply moved by you now because you are so clearly heart-broken. Contained in your life and career is the entire tragedy. Much respect to you sir!

Great voice from him for the documentary’s but I don’t think him talking down to Americans and English will fix what other nations are doing. Look into micro plastics and factory farming. Can be fixed but won’t “FOR PROFIT” in our countries in our time. But you’ll never hear him speak on British or American waste. PROFIT IS KING FOR THESE FOUNDATIONS.
