I always think people underestimate Benavidez's abilities. He's much more than a pressure fighter who punches hard.....his footwork and timing are top notch , combination punching and volume of punches , fast hands ,superb defensive skills and he's one of those fighters that if you catch him with a good shot , he'll hit you back harder.....bloody nightmare.

He can’t really criticize canelo on his choice of opponents benavidez was at 168 for ten plus years and never even tried to unify andrade was a hype train idk why anybody with a functioning brain thought Andrade was anything more than hype plant was decent but not enough power to keep big fighters off of him he went up to 175 and fought a guy clearly at the verge of retirement he record don’t matter dude was done and still couldn’t get him Out of there which proves that really all he has at 168 is size cause it’s not footwork it’s not defense he has a solid chin and throws a lot of punches but that most likely won’t work at 175
