We're lucky to see them twice a year. One of boxings real problems is Al Haymon who basically controls everything to the detriment of the sport. As someone who has fought and trained as an amateur boxer, I remember being told this is a poor man’s sport. If you want to make it here, YOU NEED TO EARN RESPECT-no money, no pride, no shortcuts can help you. That’s what it ultimately boils down to. People are waking up and realizing that all he truly has is his audience supporting him, not the professional boxing community or the fighters in the space. The professionals all shrug because they know the truth-just like the world is starting to see. He found a niche and chose to exploit it by manipulating the sport in a way that’s clearly visible. The outcome is bound to be ironic. RICHARD TORREZ and ANDY RUIZ will likely never receive a call from him, as his actions show a reluctance to face elite or rising professional boxers in his rankings. Ultimately, I believe AMANDA may face consequences for aligning with someone so self-centered.

Maybe even revenge, Kid Dynamite is truly a household name in the boxing world. Injuring Tyson is something completely different. Actually, this has nothing to do with a professional main fight. But some bureaucrats on the commission apparently found ways to approve it. Apparently there are a lot of dollars for a little sparring with old Tyson. This is not something that can be conveyed to amateurs, they fight for much less money and there can also be good fighters who experience similar things in the ring as the professionals. The fight between Belfort and Holyfield (Exhebition, year 2021) was still shockingly honest. It was as you think, but what good did it do for him to knock down a Holyfield like that in the first round? There's the old rule in boxing, it's about the glory and the money is the reward. If there is a complete imbalance in boxing, then there is usually something fundamentally wrong. I think we're seeing that again right now. Apparently worse than ever. Although I lack the experience. Someone who used to bet a lot of money on a mafia fight and saw the standard would not have been able to handle it either. I wouldn't even be surprised if Mafia godfathers didn't understand why their boxer lost and who the opponent really was :-)

This has always been my thought about it. It's all reaction. You want Jake to be a legit boxer, exclude him from that community of actual pro boxers. If you keep running to him its just going to feed his ego more and more PERIOD. Actual pro boxers need to be sending that message that "your not a real fighter" and give him that ultimatum, get in the ring with real active pro boxers or keep it real that he's just like the promoters people hate, because he's no different then these promoters who, for decades, pick fights based off biggest cash gains, not testing his ability and or not giving what the people what they want, he knows this when laying his head on the pillow at night and continues to lie to himself that hes the real deal holyfield. Ignore Jake paul and continue telling him that he's not a pro boxer, period. That will force him to make that decision and take on a real boxer NOT calling him out of emotion and frustration, it gives him the false perception that your just trying to get a slice of that cheddar cheese.

I dont think Jake Paul understands the repercussions. Yeah, the money was great for tyson to retire into, but Mike Tyson is a legend across all combat sports and a hero to a lot of fighters. If it was an exhibition I would understand, but this is a loss on Tyson's permanent boxing record.. There is no way someone lets Mike go out like that. Boxing is a martial art and a discipline with principles, values and morales. There are some lines that should not be crossed.
