Nick B A special deck that makes crinkled cards you mark with your name appear at the top?
@Claudiurogojan12343 жыл бұрын
When he flips it back over he pushes it out and drops another card on top of it, that’s why he’s holding it face up so you don’t see the other card, and that’s the one that he puts In the middle of the deck so the ace is always on top, but in this case he dropped two cards on top of it so he can get that effect with the crimped card after, notice when he reveals it he’s holding it as one card when it’s actually two, I’ve done this trick before it’s actually really easy, he’s not lying when he says that they are simple tricks as a lot of David blaines tricks are actually really simple and easy to do, it’s actually dumbfounding when you realize how easy some of them are especially the ones with the best reactions.
@oskimac3 жыл бұрын
actually he carefully bent two cards, yif you pause and go frame by frame you can se how his fingers hold the bent cards so you never see that there are two. he puts his fingers abobe the bent so it doesnt pop up, ant then he take the upper bent card that is not andys one. and place it on the deck. the second card he bent is always up but he keeps his finger abobe. then when he snaps he release his thumb and the card pop up. you need to spend days training that.

i figured out the push of the ace of diamonds with conan. if you watch it multiple times you'll realize, near the end of the deck, he placed the signed eight of diamonds. i think he practiced the feel to stutter his flick of the top of the deck so the ace of diamonds shows a bit longer, and combined with the end a split second movement it pushes ace of diamonds on you. if you watch the flick multiple times you'll realize that your brain tries to read every card it sees in the flick, but its so fast you immediately forget the previous number to remember the next. having the ace at the end of the deck, and saying what he did before the flick to manipulate your way of thinking, culminates in i think a near 100% result of people seeing ace of diamonds. all the people watching at home paying attention probably saw ace of diamonds too, and it blew there minds guaranteed. its genius. I'm sure all of his acts are full of this level of thought and practice, but fuck me id love to know how he does all of it.

@CINCO11592 жыл бұрын
@@smallgoon when he appears to be bending the Ace, he really bends two cards at once (the second card is below the Ace when the Ace is shown face-up.) The second bent card is actually on top of the deck once he flips over the Ace - this second card is the card he puts into the center of the deck. Meanwhile, can see him hold the crimped Ace flat with his index finger (and then with his thumbs, which are right in the center of the deck.) He then loosens his grip with his thumbs, allowing the crimped Ace at the top to pop up.

After some hard searching I finally worked out hiw he does it all ..... HOWEVER the smoothness and technique and the double lifting and even putting the card back in the middle even though it was 2nd down from the top is absolutely Incredable the crimp involves both hands dramatically ,,, quality slight of hand,, love how he bends back the ace to straighten the card again to show it 1 more time at the end that 2 mins of trickery is gona take hours maybe months of practice ,,, David is a master of his craft x

TRICK REVEAL OF THE TRICK WITH ANDY at 2:26 (watch 0.25 speed) 2:31 Andy draws his card. 2:35 Andy puts his card on the deck. Andy's card is now stuck with the back side on the lower card, which has a backside printed on both sides (or David uses just a flipped card with a non flipped card between it and Andy' Card, but for the easier explanation of the trick mechanism here I use the method of a double backside printed card). Andy now writes his name on his card. 2:47 David now takes Andy's card with the double backside card sticking to the back of Andy's card from the deck and shows it to the audience. 2:52 David now quickly and secretly slides Andy's card underneath the first card on the deck using the double backside card on top of Andy's card as a visual cover. 2:54 David now has only the double backside card in his hand and puts it into the middle of the deck. 2:58 David now reveals Andy's card, which is sticking to the top card of the deck, and reveals both cards under the impression that it is one card. First trick succeeded. 3:01 David puts Andy's card back on the deck with the other card stuck to the back of Andy's card. 3:03 David now takes only the card sticking to the back of Andy's card from the deck. So Andy's card is now the top card of the deck. 3:05 David now puts the card that was previously sticking to the back of Andy's card in the middle of the deck, under the impression that it is Andy's card. 3:11 David lets Andy reveal his own card from the top of the deck. The second trick succeeds. I think the third and fourth tricks are self-explanatory with the knowledge of the method of taking two cards or more.

note for myself to try to explain the routine in 2:50 2:54, he lifts the top card a bit trying to make it look like the entire half is looking up more. with his thumb and with the visual angle, andy's card looks like it goes in the middle when it's just going under the top card. great technique 2:58, a double lift. that's why he grabbs it that way, to really ensure it looks like one card. after putting it back, andy's card ends up second from the top 3:03, he grabs only the top card of the deck, so andy's card is now at the top. he puts the fake card in the middle and maintains andy's card to be on top 3:22 he pushes andy's card with the right hand half of the deck, and with it, he swiftly puts two cards behind andy's card. attention is redirected into showing andy's card pertruding from the left hand half deck. note how he quickly separates the right hand deck from the other and uses it to point to andy's card, further avoiding any attention to whatever the right hand deck might have done an instant ago. he then pushes andy's deck in, resulting in it being third from the left hand deck 3:25 he discards the top card from the left hand deck and shuffles it, resulting in andy's card being second from the top. he then does a double lift 3:43 since he double lifted, he's bending two cards there. he puts the crimped top card into the middle of the deck, resulting in now the top card being andy's card, which is crimped too, but he pushes it with his index and then his thumb so it stays straight. he moves his thumb slightly so the card jumps up, and finally reveals andy's card

i looked closely again and i figured out the trick at 3:32 , he actually folds 2 cards, not only andy's card but also the card above it, so when he flips the cards, andy's card became the second card so he actually placed the 1st card in the middle of the deck and andy's card remained at the top.
