Dying of laughter at the "Californian gig" XD He had the best sense of humour!

That's true. Gail Ann Dorsey describes his sense of humour as almost on the verge of stand-up comedy.

I wouldn't say Earthling was his best, but it was really damn good. 'Little Wonder' was awesome.

+veritaseros the songs are great- the drum and bass style percussion just wore thin after a while- the acoustic version of dead man walking showed it was classic bowie and Little wonder is great

Little Wonder, Looking for Satellites, Battle for Britain (The Letter), Telling Lies, The Last Thing You Should Do, Law (Earthlings on Fire) - great versions of those songs. I dislike the sentiment of 'I'm Afraid of Americans' because it seems so un-Bowie to, to the casual observer, to label a whole country even though his career shows a love of certain aspects of Americana. As for Dead Man Walking, the acoustic version on Conan is so perfect that it renders the Earthling version as overcooked. I mean, it is a deliberately overcooked album in many regards, after the subtle touches of 1. Outside. Even though Telling Lies could have fit in on 1. Outside.

Earthling came out when I was in 7th grade and it was my first awareness of David Bowie. And Little Wonder was a track my best friend's favorite song who passed right around the same time Bowie. So thanks for uploading this.
