Bowie was a very thoughtful man. He did everything to stay humble & not let fame ruin himself as a curious human being seeking a simply fulfilling human life. Im glad he later truly found a love in his 2nd wife, Iman, that he could liken to being in love. I think around this time he was really starting to develop a thing for "sistas" lol. He also dated Slash's(from Guns n Roses) mom. Most dont know that Slash is half black. His personal life is just as interesting as his acts but w/o the flashiness.

I came here cause I have been reflecting on Bowie and also his wife, Iman. And remembered this interview! Too funny! Slashes Mom huh?! Always learning more about him! You can add Tina Turner,Ava Cherry,Catherine Denuve,Geeling Ng (China Girl video) I could go on! And on! And on!!! He got around the world thats for sure!! Then someone arranged Iman and David to meet. And his definition of love became more tangible for him! Even said they became the most solid relationships amongst the 'famous people'. Cause it was real! Beautiful daughter. Just before he died she said "Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory". That to me really resonates volumes of what its all about! Rest in peace David! ✌🌠

Loved his reference to Bryan Ferry & Roxy Music as 'influencers'. And of course I couldn't agree more with the fact Roxy Music was so NEW in those mid to later 1970s. There was NOTHING around like Roxy Music then make no error. They never plagiarized any artist. They created such new music it could have been considered a whole new genre of music. But this vid is about David Bowie and he would eventually become a musical genius - that's how great he became.

Henry Winkler was still producing content millions of people watched(Barry), until just a few years ago, and sadly is one of the few people on this show who's even still alive. Dinah Shore is one of the most underrated in broadcast skill and to boot most adorable women to ever appear on legacy mass media. Do we even need to discuss how great Bowie is? Didn't think so. Winkler did one of my fav films about a love for a young woman called Heroes, that displays his equal brilliance to bowie & he reached me to my core & I see how my Pastor explained that one needs to learn how to adore one's wife...bowie expressed the contrapositive...Henry is able to make plain & not "...mystique a make...", to steal the Roches line in "Losing True"..."...I forget who I'm...Losin' you...".
