+Jared Hamline It's spectacular. I really like the final concert/film "Spiders from Mars" version too. It was the last show he performed as Ziggy - the band was tight that night.

Brilliant version of my favourite Bowie song. Recently watched Beside Bowie: Mick Ronson Story 2017 which was very well constructed, ultimately sad of course but still a treat for his fans. I said many years ago to a friend, if l was asked what would improve/enhance the quality of your life. I would wish that Mike Ronson's guitar solo, in Moonage Daydream was 2 minutes longer. God bless you Hull Masterpiece. 👍🙏🍻

Awesome lyrics, vocals, Ronson's guitar, arpeggios, fills and coda solo rates with the album - may be better. Drumming is great. This live performance rates with the album version. Amazing. The sound engineering on this live performance is exceptional. Probably better than the album original. The 2012 remix of this on Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust album is awesome as well. Is this available on vinyl?

@miketan33982 жыл бұрын
Mick never "faded away". He had a brilliant career making a lot of other people better. He was a phenomenal guitar player, producer, arranger, and all around great musician who didn't get the notice he deserved, but will live large in the memories of those of us who followed his storied career.

Great version but for me the crisp manic vibe of the album with Visconti's string laden production is as close to R&R perfection as anyone except maybe Elvis ever got!!! f'ing great live redition but the ziggy album version is fire!!!

And to think, the high mark of television for 1972 in terms of popularity was The Brady Bunch. Would Marsha Marsha Marsha have secretly lusted after Bowie while pretending to love Davy, merely to please Mike and Carol??
