This just found its way onto my feed today - I've never heard it before but it's great... Bowie nails it again and makes it his own.👏👏👏👏👍

I didn't know he did this! He Bowicized it! You realize, from my time stamp, I am writing this on the day he passed from this earthly plane of existence. But not from MY life, not even. As I said, here I am, hearing this one for the first time ever. I still have new Bowies to hear, here. Guess I'll limp along even though......she's been dead since 1929....and how I cried this night.

I appreciate the work of David Bowie, but I like more the Who's original - this one here hasn't got the drive and power , it sounds more, as it is played in 1/2 speed or under benzodiazepine! - When it comes to cover songs , Bowie's Version of "See Emily play" of the 67' s Pink Floyd/Syd Barrett- song is much better in my opinion! That psychedelia athmosphere better fits with the character of Bowie!
@dylanschofield80674 жыл бұрын
Exactly, its still good but doesn't have that "BUH BUH BUH BUHBUH" it's more of a "buh, buh, buh buh buh"
