Pure magic in music, one of the most fantastic songs ever written that only a genial mind could conceive and that will always be able to give a thrill in the human soul, inviting into the space of mystery. To redsails2008, Marianna: you who know how to enter into the vivid dreams of the Master; you, wonderful fellow traveller for trying to clarify knowingly the essence of the visible and the art of the invisible...

As more I watch this I can´t stand that this Tour was the last I saw him live...he´s so breath-takin fantastic here...sometimes he was a little bit shy and nervous during live performances it seemed to me...but that is the really "mystic art-figure" David Bowie...with each different nuances of his typical genius "Bowie-singing...

I cannot believe that at this point in my life I will ever be the same again; you tore my universe into a deep black hole I find myself falling into as I remember the day my beloved and deceased husband made sure to get front row seats to see you in concert as I had crowd phobia. We were watching as you did a lot of miming and caught our eyes which were as stoned as yours. You smiled an incredible smile and I am aware my husband looked like a movie star so I wasn't too sure who caught your eyes more, but I did not care. I was wrapped up in your music and lyrics and I will never forget that day as being one of the most precious in my life for my beloved husband did everything in his power to make me happy. We both loved your sagacious brain. You kept him alive even in spirit every time I listened to you although if an ocean was needed, my tears could have succeeded in creating a place for dolphins and whales to swim. I was in shock when my sun (son) who lit my darkest hours said "mom, really bad news, David Bowie died. We were watching a movie and I could not believe it. I went into one of the greatest depressions I have never come out of since my husband left. Ironically, I was in Chicago last week and went to where the Ambassador West used to be. The pictures were still there and in the middle was YOU! I took a picture of your picture and a picture of myself next to your face. I cried so hard through Black star video and now my sun at 23 wants to move to South America. He was the reason I lived as long as I did. I can certainly feel the gut wrenching pain your family is going through because it never stops. The more you love the more you lose and I lost my beloved husband but at 64 I was never ready for my broken heart to break even more. My dad just died last April, and it hurt, but you have left after going through the hell of having liver cancer which my husbands' cancer spread to. I could hear your voice crying out your song and I still do. Thank you for the most beautiful songs my ears have ever heard. You are a Black star in the universe connected to everything. We are all unique, but you were more than that you were ethereal and you did not fall to earth; you fell back up to heaven. Rest in sweet slumbers with no more pain and may God bless your family to help them live on and realize they were blessed to be related to a man who will always be remembered by so many broken hearts that bleed for the loss of one of the greatest artists....donna Star without my own beloved "man".

+donna Star My dear donna Star, reading your poignant comment I couldn't help but respond to you, although with these poor words... I have great respect for the pain of others and, as you say, concerns us intimately because we are One. I wish I could soothe it, but unfortunately I don’t have this power. Like you, in front of my personal losses, I have known moments of infinite sadness, the perception of a huge void. This is the face of our part purely human, very heavy and hard, slow and rough. But there is within us also a different dimension, so to speak of the "sun above the clouds": there is a bright bridge between these two parts ... It suggests to me that physical death could only be a change of dimension, where also our loved ones who have left us here are not very far away from the material world: as affirms the Quantum Physics, we are a "Unified Energy Field" in different bands of frequencies, then, even beyond the time and space. I believe that love be never a loss nor a defeat, but a creative power that helps us to transform the past into a renewed strength which allows us to discover inedited sides of ourselves, a resilience that allows energy to move in every dimensional direction, freeing joy, and that elevates us to Beings full of grace and dignity. Our beloved ★ David ★ was very familiar with this bridge ... Thanking you for this wonderful sharing, I hope for you and your Sun/Son a serene sailing, along with dolphins and whales, in that sparkling ocean of Light. A hug, Fiorella

Thank you for speaking to me on the level I greatly understand . I am very aware of subatomic particles and waves, energy fields as I am extremely sensitive and interested in how I believe which is that there is really no beginning and no end. I emulate Stephen Hawking an idolize Albert Einstein. I may not understand the math but I do get the gist. I read an editorial after Googling if I was the only one who felt their universe was shaken as far as grieving over someone I never actually knew and the editor wrote how she too never had such a great impact because he was a genius and touched many generations and cultures which included gay people and every race which I felt was a very positive force on the world. He helped to bring down the Berlin Wall. It was not until his death that I became obsessed with his entire life and I learned a lot. Because my grief for my own husband will continue until I take my last breath even though I had to move on to raise our sun (son), I too feel that the universe is connected. I told my husband to try to reach me through electricity because that cannot die but the form can be changed. David sang a lot about changing and he battled against the mental illness in his own family (his mother's side) where he distanced himself from the half brother who took his own life around 44 years of age. Thank you for the videos and sites you lead me too. We really are all connected and it was David Bowie who made our connection. Blessings, donna Star

+donna Star Again thank you for your moving testimony, for the depth of your thinking. Love is the Strength of the forces, and you emanate this Light, of which this world really needs. It's surprising to have been able to see how the entire planet has responded to Bowie's physical death: a specular resonance, thanks to his great Soul through his talented Art. Also this explains the correlation we are talking about ... The new frontiers of science are opening incredible horizons for our conscience, so that the "impossible" seems to be only a whole of great possibilities not yet realized (and hidden in the deepest part of us), that part of a path not yet accomplished. Life is wonderful... Thanks for the poem: a magnificent affirmation that I fully support, a refreshing gift for our existence that has the power to mitigate the efforts on our Infinite Journey, elevating our "spaceship" well above the strict determinism of the gravitational frequency. A very sweet embrace, my darling.

Thank you so much for helping to lift my spirit; and with that, I wish you eternal blessings and I am sure you have been through enough of your own and sometimes inescapable nightmares of loss, sorrow and pain that come along with the territory of life. So, may you live as long as you want, and never want as long as you live, and may the happiest days of your past, be the saddest of your future. May you have sunny days with blue skies and green lights. Goodnight, sweet dreams, and thank you for your very kind words....donna Star

Please, I invite to use a language appropriate for a Community of Music, which is not place of whatsoever quarrelsome talk shows, or of a stadium's curve. Of course, I respect the opinions of all if they are comments as regards the musical matters, which obviously everyone can freely discuss, but not personal criticisms against Artists, moreover, given superficially behind an easy anonymity. Otherwise, sorry, I would be forced to remove these comments. Thank you.

@GoldenYears77 Among the music and lyrics the most poignant by Bowie. Also I'm moved every time and I can not help but say "but, how beautiful!". Could it seem like a scanning of those few seconds preceding whatever process of conscious death, in slow motion... and the extraordinary thing is that David sings it with a mysterious sense of serenity mixed with an infinite sweetness. Thanks dearest Nicole, thanks so much.

@VampireBowie Perhaps the key is "Planet Earth is blue and there's nothing I can do": blue, sadness. The whole trilogy (with Ashes to Ashes, Hallo Spaceboy) has a fil rouge of connection: the voyager of Universes does not belong to the Earth, is alien to this type of society. The conceptual parallel with "2001, Space Odyssey" is decidedly ingenious for its saying - not saying, giving rise (as did Kubrick) to many interpretations. Heartfelt thanks for your input, dear Friend, always excellent.

They were pioneering times toward the Space, even a technological race between Russia and America, a position of prestige and not only. The vinyl... hah the vinyl was magnificent, nowadays appreciated again. I imagine your joy as teenager, a panorama that was opening also for a certain kind of spiritual awakening, what perhaps Major Tom testifies allegorically.
