I was lucky enough to see David Bowie at The Roxy in Hollywood with Tin Machine in 1989. They played the Tin Machine Album and a few covers but no Bowie solo music. Still , it was epic !

Hey Jordan, firstly welcome here to Sydney!! I actually work one block from 301 Castlereagh Street (I think you would have had your Harry's Cafe hotdog behind my workplace in Haymarket) and had no idea there was David Bowie history there? Being a Bowie fan, thank you for giving me some really interesting history of my own city I had no idea about myself! I hope we look after you on the rest of your stay here in Australia.

I was eating in china town when little china girl came on the radio years ago, and at that time my friend told me the music video for the song was filmed on the same street we ate on, I thought he was pulling my tail at the time, but came to realise this was real, pretty cool to have the street associated with a cool bowie song.

😇💙 Hi Jordan, WOW...I had NO idea that David Bowie, lived in Australia.🤗 I was first introduced to his music, in the early seventies { I was in the seventh grade and maybe the eighth grade } by a girl who was new to our school.🤗 We became close friends, and we would go to her house and, listen to his music on a eight track LOL 🤭 Good times and good memories.🤗 I got to go to a concert of his, in either 1989 or 1990, but I was a lil disappointed, because I heard that, David Bowie was going to play his older songs, and introduce us to his more recent music, but that wasn't the case, I really didn't know his newer music, and was looking forward to his older songs. Thank YOU for sharing this adventure with us.

I didn't know David had anything to do with Australia. Thanks to you now I do. They have some amazing streets there in Australia. Different that the streets here in The U.S. I can't wait to see what the next vlog has in store for us. Thanks for taking us around with you today. I enjoyed this very much. Thank you so much for this! I had no idea Bowie lives in Sydney. If you ever want to come out to Perth I can personally take you around some Bon Scott locations. His grave of course, as well as the highway he and others drag raced on that the song Highway To Hell is about. A lot of people died on it. Plus his childhood home.

Hey Jordan that golden tree was actually commissioned because bank robbers robbed the bank on the corner next to the tree and in which the robbers took a whole weekend drilling into the underground safe which is right underneath the tree itself. The robbers took $20 million in cash and gold in safety boxes. It's a symbol and reminder of the biggest bank robbery - break in... Love your posts mate... 👍
