No, when he was in school he was punched in the eye by his 'friend' after an argument about a girl and the 'friend' scratched his eye, his eye is now left constantly dilated so it seems a different colour when in fact it's not... But Bowie nearly lost sight in his eye he got of lightly... But he has said before in an interview that it effects his vision when driving sometimes...
