I met David in a club with one of my friends, he was terrific hanging around us just laughing and talking. Anyone who came up to him David would start conversations making each person feel comfortable talking with a celebrity. A very genuine guy I was impressed by his serenity and kindness. It proves that being kind , genuinely so, is what drew in viewers. He’s kind, great looking, funny, and much taller than it seems on TV.

I think the reason for all his tattoos is due to him not being happy with himself. That's just how I feel about anyone who covers themselves with tattoos. His tattoos and way he dresses brings lots of attention to himself. It's sad but I still like him and watch his show.

I'm from Australia and randomly saw an episode of that show. Was taken aback by how charming he is with that gorgeous smile, and his fun loving personality. What also stood out for me was how authentic he was and able to connect with people on their own level to make their dreams come true as much as his own. I had no idea of his background before watching this video - so nice to see his journey to success while being still so true to himself.

Yes, indeed he was a handsome man. It's amazing what people see when they look in the mirror. Like celebrities who get plastic surgery. Some don't need it. Some don't know when to stop getting it Whether it is plastic surgery or tattoos, when they look in the mirror they don't like what they see. Those who play with knives just don't like what they see, they are vain, and think this is what they need to do to stay in the business. Or to hold on to their youth Tattoos of this degree may be he doesn't like what he sees as well and is trying to cover it up. Some wounds you just can't hide

I watched David from day one on HGTV and knew he would win and become a Star. I know that arena can be hard as well as I don’t know him personally. I, myself do not have tattoos but it’s a personal choice and have many relatives that do have them. My grandson has them on his face and neck which is the ONLY place I asked and he promised he wouldn’t put them, and he lied to me and did it anyway. David has such an outgoing personality and his creativity is amazing. When I saw the neck tattoos I was shocked he did that. But, to each his own and if that made him happy more power to him. But, he is still David just with tattoos. Good luck in your life’s journey and I’ll still watch whatever you do☺️🙏

I have 3 tattoos on my upper arms and they are surprisingly addictive for something that hurts (physically and financially). That said, getting anything anywhere near my face or hands was never going to happen - I doubt that I would have gone for a single job interview if they were visible. Tattoos are a lot more accepted now but I really can't see why David got so many. Horses for courses, I guess - I wish him well.

I used to watch his early shows with my daughter. Recently visited her and she put on his new show. Having not seen him in over a decade, I was shocked.
