I don't have any of your cars/tractors but enjoy your videos very much. Always something of interest. I've spent a lot of money over the years on various felt tipped pens like Sharpies, Staedtler, Edding etc. A friend in the US told me I should try Milwaukee pens. They last a long time on metal, concrete !!! etc. I found the very large and fine sizes in Germany. I'm still looking for the medium size tip.

For anyone doing a full restoration - on tractors, or other machines - there are people and companies that can reproduce those metal (or even stick-on) tags EXACTLY! I'm not sure if Steve is going to go that far, but it is an option if you want it done perfectly!

In my country, where there is so much vehicle theft (amongst other thefts), it is wise to check, when buying a second hand vehicle, if all the numbers correspond, as the cops can confiscate the vehicle if they don't. The thieves sometimes swap out engines, etc to be able to sell the vehicle. I can see you are still old school - the younger guys would have used a block and tackle to take off the bonnet and fenders!!

Never heard of a vehicle inspection on a tractor. Nothing like that here in the states……… I always get a kick out of people thinking that WD40 is a penetrating oil. It is actually a water displacing lubricant. Which is what the WD stands for. Legend says that the 40 signifies that it was the 40th version of the formula. Don’t know how much truth there is to that tho….
