My fave TH song. The intro to this is genius - love the way the groove builds. So simple but DEADLY. About as hypnotic as it gets

A sad song about a person in the future who learned to not be a human singing about why they can't be human and wanting to become human becomes one of the most humane songs in recent history

It’s so strange that Byrne still does Heads songs but won’t perform with the band anymore. Roger Waters does the same thing.

To be fair, Wright died 15 or so years ago, and with him went the spirit of pink floyd
@TooSkinnyKenny3 жыл бұрын
@@thatmatt41 I agree to a certain extent but I’m very fond of “The Final Cut” and Wright is not on there. He called Waters “a difficult man to work with” and I’m guessing that’s why waters had him fired.
@thatmatt413 жыл бұрын
@@TooSkinnyKenny Most of that had to do with his experiences with Wright while doing the wall. Watch vinyl rewind's video on the wall for more info, but to sum it up, wright couldn't be as productive in the sessions as he wanted to be and so waters put all the blame on him.
@buckfunster3 жыл бұрын
SO, you're saying that McCartney or Starr shouldn't perform any songs they wrote while with the Beattles? Talking Heads doesn't exist as a Band anymore. Strange comment
@TooSkinnyKenny3 жыл бұрын
@@buckfunster not saying that at all. But he seems reluctant to explain why he seems to have such bad and angry feelings about the band, and the other members don’t seem to feel that way. They did reunite once though, but nobody seems to have noticed.
