After most shows, the actors go there own way, live their lives, never to see each other again. Both Danny and David have had ups and downs throughout out their lives. Even though they are not real brothers, they are actually closer than some real brothers!

I miss David, Danny. I'd always had the utmost respect for the man! I was well-taught throughout my years regarding psychology and addictions. I'd several friends who were counselors, etc.. Anyway, I saw the man struggling, and wished I had had the chance to really talk to him. I'm trying not to be weird about this, but David meant a great deal to me. I got to shake his hand in Atlantic City, and it was one of the most profound and moving experiences in my life! I got to meet him and have him know that I exist too, and that it was more than just a mass of girls who "only wanted just to touch his face and hair, and stare into his eyes"! Honestly, he was there for me during a very dark time, and simply, words cannot express my feelings regarding the loss of him. My deep sympathy toward his dear family and friends for your loss of him! And my condolences to you too, Danny Bonaduce!

Tonight saw the life of Mr. David Casssidy draw to an incredibly sad close. David passed away on 11-21-17, after struggling for several days on life support. While many fans believed for far too long that he continued to battle the demons of substance and abuse, in fact...he had been diagnosed with Alzheimers Disease. How many people believed it would have been "little brother Danny", to have gone first? But now, this world is cruel...and tonight saw the brilliant life of this beautiful 1970's pop icon leave this world. So many-Danny Bonaduce included-INCORRECTLY believed that he had been drinking in his last years...when in truth, he was doing what he could to hide his secret health battle...a battle he lost tonight. As sadness overwhelms me,I have at least the assurance of knowing he will no longer have to face the haters and evil people who enjoyed mocking him in his last years...when he should instead have been surrounded by family and caretakers who'd understood what he really was suffering from. My only consolation is in knowing that David no long is suffering. Heaven became a little brighter-and it's choir a whole lot prettier and harmonic with David's new and ultimate destination. RIP David Cassidy...yes, you "thought you loved us", but we KNOW WE LOVED YOU,and ALWAYS WILL! 11-21-17

Linda De Graaf Linda David Died of Organ failure brought on by the fact that he WAS STILL drinking right up until the very end.. Now, that does not change my love for this man who gave so much of himself and truly was a very loving man who did indeed battle many many demons until the very end.. David is no longer in the emotional pain that haunted him his entire life, he’s free and in the arms of the Angels... RIP David.. Thanks for your gift of yourself and your music.

What an amazing night! I was blessed to meet David several times after that. One of the nicest, most genuine people I've ever met, even in the few moments I spent with him over the years. The Partridge Family was one of My fave shows growing up. I had a crush on David Cassidy, but I also thought Danny was an amazing comedian and a huge asset to the show, he often carried it I thought. I also loved Shirley Jones, I thought she was SO beautiful, stylish, level headed and modern. Its soo great to see these two maintained a friendship. It truly is and they BOTH shine on that stage, they were natural born entertainers. Thanks for the contributions the Partridge Family made to an era in tackling its political and social issues in its time. It influenced Me very much. Great memories of a lifetime friendship. I became so sad when I heard about David's passing. "The Partridge Family" was broadcast in Argentina under the name of "Mamá y sus increíbles hijos" ("Mum and her awesome kids") in the late 70s and early 80s daily. I was amazed by the songs, I used to plug my tape recorder to the TV headphone output, waiting to record the song from each episode. The one I most like (maybe because it was the first one I heard in the show) is "If you ever go". Being a little kid and a guitar student, I used to dream that I was part of that beautiful family band. The Partridge Family is one of the soundtracks of my childhood. RIP David.
