Choe is exactly right. That’s what is amazing about Kayfabe…. I was alone when I read these books and had no one to share my thoughts about the art and story. This is the club I always wanted to be a member of. It all just is tragic that Ed is gone. This show was in it’s beginning… even though it was a few years in. I just found the show March of 2024. Then April 1st, it’s over. Can this ever continue? Will Jim ever make a comment here? Or just let it fade into the past? Ugh….

Dave Choe is like a high level CK fan, totally loves what you've done and even getting to be a part of it. He embraces the absurd aspects of the medium, wants creators to take more chances but can also enjoy a good Supes or X book at the same time. He's almost an unofficial member

Dave Choe is a 20th Century Ronin Renaissance Man, who's mind operates on a different level than most humans; but there is a danger to having such a strong connection. I feel fortunate that I live in a time with such talent.

Not saying anything new here, but listening to the Ed, Jim, and Dave trifecta is such a refreshing experience. Thank you dudes. Happy New Year!

2:45 I'm on the floor right now because if you know what I've been working on, where Corben is referenced makes Dave's comment beyond hilarious, but still very true. I'll get into on another day, but it's been fun having Dave on the channel.

The guy who did the piece at the end I think is Matt Howarth. He did some TMNT stuff but also worked on a lot of music comics like some books for The Residents, Nash the Slash and Regressive Aide. Pretty cool and unique artist, lots of stippling and deadlines

Has anybody ever seen a black ink of Raphael like, 50 years in the future striding through a swamp with a beat up broken, cracked shell and only one eye with an eyepatch- he's got scars and is way beyond being any sort of teenager-- he's alone and the feeling is he's the last turtle--- I've looked everywhere for this print or reprint and can't find it...

If you compare the Casey Jones sequence in his apartment with the Archie Comics adaptation of the first TMNT movie, the parallel/homage with the ''Bruce Wayne drinking and watching the news'' in DKR becomes super obvious...

I remember when TMNT first came out. I think 1st print of #1 was over $100 or maybe $200 so I settled for a 3rd print at like $25. My mistake but I guess you never know what's going to be hot. At the time black and whites were hot like Elflord, Trollords, Fish Police, and all the TMNT clones. I really have a hard time getting into TMNT now unless Eastman is doing the art or someone who tries to go for that original style.

My wife picked my up Hip Hop Family Tree for Christmas. I love your work Ed! I have Wizzywig, Red Room, X-men Grand Design, All of the Hip Hop Family Tree. What else is available for me to spend my bucks on Ed? As long as you make it imma keep buying it.
