Go to a Bible teaching, Word of God believing church if you feel like this. God pulled me out of an impossible circumstance 4 years ago that saved my life and led me to him at age 35, been walking with Him since then and He has healed my mind. A true Christian will not turn you away for your unbelief, misery, depression from losing someone you love, or your sin, only a refusal to abandon those things and allow yourself to be loved by God and experience it also on earth through those who have truly allowed the Holy Spirit to guide your life

And for many people it doesn't work.

@@_s827 and how does your comment help anyone at all?

@@ConcededSpatula it's incredibly harmful to give people mental health advice that is based on religion.
@ConcededSpatula4 ай бұрын
@@_s827 Yes if you try to force superstition plus religion together you end up with someone drilling a hole in someones head to try and get rid of the evil problems. I'm not a devout learner of the good book but have been to many different churches in my younger years. I have not been to church for a long time but from what I've been too I know a good church is non biased and they will be the first to admit they too were in a bad place and they will offer an open hand to help another person out of the bad place they are in. Most the churches I've been too are down to earth normal people that don't care where you've been. You're in front of them now and they are there to help. For those people you say it doesn't work for what are you offering as a solution? This guy says God saved his life and you're over here posting "and for many people it doesn't work". I think for many (many being a very vague but a very big word) it has helped. What is your suggestion for an alternative to taking away someones belief? I'm sure you don't think medicine is the cure all fix.

Looks like I'll be walking back through some church doors tomorrow. This song, this comment... God couldn't be more stern.
