I'm surprised he auditioned considering he didn't have to follow through what the producer told him and simply leave with his brother understanding without complaining of David not being there for him. But I guess I should be happy David actually went for it considering I would not be listening to him in the first place.

So, so good right off the bat! And here in 2021, still making great music and doing great shows. This video is now a trip down memory lane, but DC is absolutely the voice for me - listen to his albums almost every day.

I listen to the collective soul version and i really like too. Normally for me i would listen to the oringinal versions of songs that contestant sing on the show as well as everybody probably. And there was alot of the oringinal versions that i like.With brooke white's You've Got a Friend and Definitly The World I know.

@mamamialove i don't know if he's done that, but he had his brother sing the national anthem with him at a baseball game for their favorite team (i forget which one). But i think his brother does not wanna feel like he's only loved for David, so he doesn't wanna ride his coattails or anything. Make his own way, as David has said. I love DC. He is the best Idol ever. I loved Kris, and Lee is great. But there will never again be another David, or a finale to match his and Archie's.

Then I'm like, "eh, oh well" He's doing things, as i said. He isn't mainstream though.
