This is the trick that David seriosuly hurt himself on. On one show, he literally cut the very tip of his finger off! They rushed him to the hospital and sewed it back on and thank God it healed well. David has told this story several times.

@MyBalloonmagic Almost?!?! It's just as good if not better. It;s the same trick, but his routine is amazing. I even copied it for a while to use for mine. This was one of the first tricks I learned, and his routine was the one I used. I now have my own routine.

@sTyLnK His shows start late because he sends out plants all over the theatre. One audience member he picked at the show I saw him at did not speak a word of English. I was surprised how patient DC was with him. This communication with the public is what makes him unique in his field.

He's always an entertainer first, magician second. That what made him so successful. I remember watching him in Jakarta in.....1992 (I think). I was so jealous because my then girlfriend was so crazy about him. Lol.
