@@5954ldydi I think it’s not so bad, to be him and not be a little diva, would not be DC😊 Remember who took him into Deep Purple as new member 23 years singing in front of 400 000 people in California Jam. That biggest diva was Ritche Blackmore, the ultra divas of them all, a guitar God send from heaven if you asked him. It was John Lord how took care of a young Coverdale, (Ritche did not care a shit about him) in maybe the biggest bands of that era with Led Zeppelin. He can aford a little diva stuff, his voice got better over almost 3 decades, not many singers can say the same👌

Got to say, the Days of Thunder score brought me here. I don't think I've ever paid attention to the existence of this song and now I love it. Reminds me of how music was so impactfull in the late eighties for the end of the Soviet block. This makes me think of the end of the Cold War.

Coverdale is great singer but not compare him like Dio ( Nr3? ). And that's because Dio can sing Coverdale, but Coverdale can not sing Dios songs. His voice is not for Dios high tones. Remember it ( my opinion ). They are both rock singers but Ronnie is HARD and David is soft. Very good but soft.
