It all started when we had months and months of lockdowns where none essential workers were sat at home getting more on furlough than I get in wages for doing a job that was deemed essential. We have this twisted economy where a key worker is paid peanuts but expected in a pandemic to risk their own lives and have to carry a special letter to say why we are out of the house yet we struggle to pay the bills. At the same time we have people stapling bits of paper that were allowed to stay home paid vastly more than myself. It doesn't take a maths genius to work out that a country can't keep doing this for as long as we did. Everything went on a UK credit card and now we have burdened future generations to even more debt.

There's no contradiction at all. You can say you would vote for one of the main parties, but that it's not definite you will vote.

I agree with you but there is nobody else to vote for , as in our current system every other party is a wasted vote, the system has been purposely rigged this way for obvious reasons.

I would be in the category that believes it is the fault of the UK government. Unfortunately for the Labour party however, I believe the 2 main things the government have done to deliver this mess are the handling of the pandemic (mainly Lockdown) and the idiotic strive for Net Zero by 2050, Labour supports this, possibly twice as hard.

Truss concealed her true opinions on immigration and other matters until after she was elected. People are sick of this devious behaviour from politicians. The voting intention results are truly shocking. The risk is, that if Tory MPs leave it too late before ousting Truss, there will be no way back, because the electorate will be so resentful they didn't move sooner.

I think when people are interviewed, they should state which party they support. why - because their views are based on the party they represent and may not be the views of people who are watching, there is a word for this called staunch so people coming on to these programs represent the party and views of that party and say what the party views are, so to me this is called brain washing

Almost entirely homegrown - from the heavy push towards nett zero, the lockdowns, complete failure on the illegal immigration front, the determination to support a highly corrupt country and pushing for WW3 rather than peaceful solutions and various other policies. However, on all (or at least most of) the issues contributing to it, Labour wanted even more and harder action so it would have been/will be even worse.
