Father Benedict Groeschel got in trouble about six months ago for saying pretty much what Cross says here, but Cross says it satirically: that the boys molested by priests are sometimes not the prey but the hunter. Groeschel stepped down from his TV ministry shortly thereafter, and said, essentially, forgive me, I'm an old man, and therefore sometimes say stupid things.

@kadene2 Agreed on that, i live in Sweden and if someone here comes up to you and tells you "hey i believe in everything the Bible says, and if you dont then you are going to hell" people just think thats a very weird man and a weird way of thinking in 2011.

Don't snicker at state religion. It has made most of Europe atheist. Force religion on people and they shun it; remove it from them and they seek it, e.g. in communist Cuba, Catholicism is pervasive.
