Won? Is this a game? The world lost because it was fooled into this mass hysteria that we aere all in danger. Nothing could be further from the truth as the stats show. 99.98% recovery rate, and most people don't even know thay have had it. Add to this most people who tested positive went home and self isolated withNO symptoms. Total and utter BS. Then you say mental health down the pan, to mention nothing of the cost, then why were these questions not asked to this man?

Exactly. We have been compelled down a disastrous path of lockdowns by an authoritarian leftwing political class who don't believe in the rugged individualism which does exist in our society. Most of us given the information of the costs of lockdowns would not have chosen lockdown, we would have toughed it out and accepted some losses. But crucially we were not given that information. In fact Boris admitted that at no time during the pandemic did he order or demand of his people a cost benefit analysis of lockdown compared to the alternatives. We were simply left in the dark in the lockdown.

Moved to Sweden from UK August 2019. Here we mostly go on with life as normal..zero lockdowns and very minimal shutting down of businesses .. My daughters vistited from UK early 2020 ..they said to me .."its so nice for two weeks to live normal without the UK's over the top covid madness"..where the govt, media, chosen scientists all sing from the same scaremongering hymn..I believe Swedes live by their moto "Lagom" = moderation or everything in moderation. Another thing is Swedish media is more about reporting facts rather than opinions that I learntin Swedish school.. Swedish politics is for sure not full of drama like the UK... no govt for six months..life still goes on as normal.. new PM resigns after 7 hours.. little jokes made here n there but life still goes on as normal with zero drama.. Updates on covid were mostly by Tegnell in his non dramatic humble reasuring voice and tone. Zero scaremongering and 24/7 reporting on covid.. we learnt to live with covid from the beginning.. zero mandatory vaccines the Swedish constitution will be difficult to change to allow it I believe..no being Bombarded with messages one letter was sent out to me offeringthe vaccine and that was it.. testing is limited for those that need it.. we are treated like responsible adults and therefore react the same way. I work part time in a chicken factory and no factory was built for social distancing..we worknface to face shoulder to shoulder..we are near enough 900 workers most of us working shifts clocking in and and out I often ask myself where is covid? We are absolutely packed like sardines.. regardlessof the company taking all necessary measures and making distancing spaces.. its human habits . zero deaths as far as I know n I have not heard of anyone hopitalised.. I have worked in the summer 4 months straight 5 days per week and have worked a 3 month winter contract.. most people that went off sick with flu symptoms recovered at home n were soon back at work. I am over 50 and not having the vaccine.. I was off work with flu like symptoms when the Omicron came..have never taken any covid test to date.. we have to calm down and stop all this over the top reactions, drama and refuse to pay attention to the scaremongering. Leave me alone! ..I am an adult with the right to choose what goes in my body..

West Africa didn't move fast. That's a total misreading. Covid deaths in bulk were aged-based. EG the population in West Africa above 70 is about 0.6% of the population. In Western countries it's about 6%. So we have TEN TIMES the vulnerable population let alone that in West Africa if you're 70 you're very likely relatively fit because life is harder or at least more physical.

There was a planned pandemic response already in place that was ignored. It was regularly updated and was calculated to deal 750000 deaths directly from a virus. Has this committee looked in to why this was not used? Our current type of situation was one that was looked at within this planned pandemic response. It did not recommend lockdowns and coercion.

Looking at the difference between those that locked down & those who didn't (e.g. North & South Dakota) showed no flippin difference, if anything those that didn't did slightly better. Lockdowns were in effect a social experiment. We threw out our pandemic plans to follow China in what was unproven & draconian. Let's get real, our deaths as a percentage of the population for 2020 was 0.92%, thats the average for the last 20 years. We knew who the most at risk were & failed them. We have no idea what our infection rates or death rates were or are because using a useless metric (cases being a positive test & deaths of anything within 28 days of a positive test). MHRA reporting c.1500 vaccine related deaths a week at present. Not being discussed at all. Follow the money.

The earlier we'd locked down the more deaths from other causes we would have seen. The answer was to keep all other healthcare going in early build Nightingales while treating covid in the general hospitals that way overall deaths could have been reduced. There was 250,000 of us signed up to return and the whole thing was so badly organised many of us removed our details from the list. It is simply untrue to say we didn't have the staff. The Swedes did exactly what we should have and their overall death rate per capita will end up considerably better than ours.
