This week on geohug with David Drejing-Carroll from Boliden, we will return to one of the locations where ideas regarding iron oxide-copper-gold deposits began to take shape, Norrbotten, Sweden. Exploring the discovery history and geology of the Nautanen North copper-gold deposit. Unravelling complex alteration and mineralization to show how the deposit likely formed in a multi-episodic manner in response to repeated phases of intrusive and deformation within the area.
