I mean what was even the point of bringing Jay Leno as a guest. He used to host the show earlier. It should have been Rashida Jones or Kristen Bell(well she was prego do she couldn't have been there but anyhoo) or Mila Kunis or David Duchovny or Desmond Tutu. Hell I would have taken Hugh Laurie or Larry King too.
@SS-kg8rj3 жыл бұрын
I think the point of bringing Leno was because Leno and Letterman (Craig's boss) have a beef, Craig wanted to show that he didn't take sides. Though I wonder if Letterman was pissed at the end.

He's been annoyed about being asked the same question over and over again in interviews, but even when he's pissed off (at least in public appearances), he still has a pretty calm tone. He comes across as self-assured and humble at the same time, if that makes any sense. Like he knows he's smart, and he knows what he wants and isn't afraid to speak his mind, in a very matter-of-fact way. He used to come off as cocky at time, when he was younger, but it seems like he has mellowed out over the years.

he once said in a interview everything changed after he had Desmond Tutu as a guest. Desmond told him he was crazy or insane, but he also said Craig was the perfect kind of crazy. I think that was the turning point for him

People criticize everything online and without fail say the older thing was better I mean no matter what it is they will say that it just doesn’t matter. If anything he seemed more nervous at first and overtime loosened up hence why more of the comedy came out. I don’t get that at all though, he seemed similar throughout and later just gained a great sidekick and maybe relaxed some overtime.

Man, I love when guests played along with Craig's show! I remember first watching this show in 2017 and could not believe how exciting it was; especially when you compare it to every other talk show on American television. Seriously, you watch one or two episodes of it, and you realize "oh, so this is what an actual fun and engaging conversation looks like and not some heavily rehearsed, PR machine for Hollywood that exists solely to make you buy things" .....God, I miss Craig...... and this show..... Thanks for the upload

He is hilarious in a quiet, subtle way. Chilled yet eccentric. Mellow and strange. I don’t really get what people mean by that. He always had that, he came from punk rock but that was also like part of the shtick. He was always fantastic as an interviewer people just say the older stuff was better no matter what it is like it just doesn’t matter. If anything he seemed more nervous up front and overtime settled in and then got the greatest sidekick of all time also but he was always sort of charming and good with people.

He said they didn’t market him that much, that could be a complaint of many shows and quite a few that were canceled before their time like Firefly. But ultimately they gave him quite a bit of freedom and let him rag on them a lot and he became extremely rich working for them of course he also brought them a unique show. The other hosts were on a lot longer and had to deal with constraints as well, but Ferguson to me was something else.
