It is still SO GOOD. Nobody will better it: Craig Ferguson and Josh Robert Thompson were the best live, improvisational late night host/sidekick in history. Grant Imahara maker of robot skeleton Geoff Petersen was also a legend in his own right: The world was robbed of a genuinely great engineer, prop designer, and TV personalty with his loss. Even Secretariat was hilarious. I'll admit to thinking "this show has gone down hill" after that personality was making regular appearances. Then started to LOL on almost every antic involving the mime horse. Edit: I remember going home for the holidays back when the show was on, my parents are very religious and generally against anything good, wholesome, or funny. But my mom really got a kick out of this pothead entertainment, and genuinely mellowed out a little, and I credit Craig Ferguson for a large part of that.

Craig...on the off chance you may ever read this comment... Speaking for myself and tons of fans of Craig's... we miss you and I don't watch any late night anymore... these days I watch clips of your show on youtube... a lot from Jay Leno Fly channel. The vortex of Scottish charm may be a part of why I so enjoyed you... The accent... sexy Appearance... sexy/ handsome... I'm sorry you were concerned about your weight... we thought you looked good all the time. Personality... charming I know you mentioned you didn't go to college and left high school, but intelligence isn't about schooling... there are a lot of PhDs that are extremely stupid... they simply have expertise, or have been told they are experts, in one area. Your innate intelligence is obvious. You seem to have a good heart. You are pretty open and honest about your past. You are so funny and I loved when you cracked yourself up or Secretariat or Geoff Peterson cracked you up. You were so wonderful with the guests. You are such an amazing flirt...it was fun to watch. I do wish you had enjoyed doing and continued with your late night show... you are so missed!!! I miss your impression of Michael Caine, Sean Connery... I loved when you had Michael Caine on... Anthony Hopkins... not enough time to list all the guests... it seemed like your guests had more fun on your show than any other. Wishing you and your family well. P. S. On hunting... for people who are not vegetarian or vegan, many hunt to be able to afford protein... especially these days with inflation, people can't always afford buying meat from the grocery store. Most hunters, but not all, are very big supporters of wildlife and keeping nature healthy so they can always have game around to feed their families. There are of course some who don't consume what they hunt, which i don't like...trophy hunters, but most deer hunters, turkey hunters, duck hunters do so because they enjoy procuring their own food and some also do so because store bought animal protein is too expensive. Many also grow their own fruits and vegetables on their land. They often believe in self sufficiency.

One of the best bottles of wine I've had in my 50 years of being a legal drinker was a 1976 Chianti in a basket. I found the bottle at a hot summer day garage sale. I bought it, as a novelty because it was the year of my wife's HS graduation. It was the mid 80's and the bottle sat around in changing seasons, hot/cold, moved from house to house. It was never intended to be drank, so no gentle treatment. Post 1987 divorce, the bottle ended up as an ornament in my younger daughter's room, w/ a momento from my HS graduation. I always figured it would be vinegar, at best. In the mid 90's, daughter's room was redecorated & bottle ended on a shelf. One night my live in GF & I made a big Italian meal, I saw the wine & jokingly said I've got the perfect wine. Egged on, I opened the bottle, cautiously smelled it, (all good), then bravely tasted it. It turned out to be absolutely perfect. Evenly balanced between dry & sweet, a good fruit taste, not too fruity to go w/ the classic marinara I'd made. If I could only duplicate the 'tender' care I gave that bottle for 20 years, I'd have the secret to great wine & a shortcut to riches. LOL
