David Feherty & author John Feinstein joined Gary Williams to talk about the book on Feherty's life authored by Feinstein, titled "Feherty: The Remarkable Funny and Tragic Journey of Golf's David Feherty". The book chronicles his life - all the up's and down's - including the tragic loss of his son, his battles with addiction and his move to LIV Golf. It is an honest and raw conversation from Feherty with tremendous perspective shared by Feinstein throughout not just the writing process but within this conversation.

I was an alcoholic for 10 years. I started when I was 13 in 1999. I stopped drinking in 2009. I was baptized. That’s what got me sober. I haven’t drank alcohol in 15 years.❤❤❤

David going to LIV was a no brainer. He, almost alone CEMENTED LIV‘s credibility. He epitomizes the best of what LIV golf COULD be. The money was there, good for him, but the spirit is pure Feherity.

David did NOT give Shey unwavering support! Or Hope in fact none at all, it was cruel to watch. 3 sons from that house landed up in rehab and one is in a box! Shey was the only one abandoned. Are you not curious? It begs the question what was happening in that house? I don’t have to talk for Shey. Shey talked for himself. He told. He will continue to tell. As Shey’s Mother, who was on top of my son as he was dying underneath me, this is cruel and callous and fake. Good timing guys Sheys anniversary! 💀 David plays the victim so well. Good acting. Why don’t we have investigative reporting in America? Pull a death record. Call homicide detectives in Plano Tx. follow up. Shey left us his last writings. A note, aka his dying declaration. David has it. He won’t address it. I will. My historic silence is no more. David’s roll in his own sons harm is the real story…I am not only talking about drugs. Those harmed everybody, it’s his lies that is the problem. We were not divorced in 1995. We do know that there is a difference between person and persona - right? If you can tell a drug lie in a legal proceeding set up to protect children and tell the truth for Money. Then as he has demonstrated again with LIV. “Money trumps morals” for David. Harming children is about as evil as you can be, especially as Shey stood before all, as a little 9 year old without eyebrows and he was pulling patches of his hair! He told about knives and was whisked off to a “lying evaluation”. By the liars!!! You can’t make this up. It has records. Drugs was not Shey’s problem it was his solution. 😢 💔 my memoir is coming aptly titled “A life on HIGH - Before Tiger there was Feherty…” consider this my Right to Reply.
