rain makes colors pop! Love the drone shots. Climbing, of course, is stellar.

This is probably my favourite climbing film of all time, and I've seen them all. Kinda plays out like a climber and his imaginary friend nerding out about climbing. Seeing him celebrate the tiny successes is super inspiring.

I can't believe he's only been climbing for 6.5 years and already sending 8C's, that's amazing!

in only 3 sessions.! That's just nuts

And what was it? 8b+ in like 2-3 years?? His progression is mind-boggling, a phenom well and truly
@jdsalbion5 жыл бұрын
Echo the comments from others. Really well made film, but more importantly this lad is a serious talent. To go from zero to 8C in six years is mental. Natural finger strength and ability only get you so far. Dave's attitude is the difference. What a top lad. Could say I wished I'd had the training info etc when I was younger but it's really all about application and using your talent correctly. From someone who was an 8b climber (finger injury away from 8c and Hubble.... damnit), 8A boulderer, World Cup competition 1/4 finalist....... in 1992. Not so much now.😂 Chapeau son!

Climbing films have come a long way in a short time. Hopefully the times when every move in a bouldering film had to be accompanied by some badass music have come to an end. Excellent production that not only showed the complexity and beauty of the climbing itself, but also a sense of the tranquility and peace nature has to offer.

great film! really enjoyed it - I really hope David's friend learns how to spot though. Being a good climbing buddy is more than just yelling 'allez' and 'come on'.

A repeat on everyone else’s comments. Great piece of work and Dave is the quintessential climber: super capable, humble, all class and beyond positive. Inspirational stuff. Amazingly supportive climbing partner too!

You guys produce amazing films. The music fits the action perfectly, it is not an annoying shit that you have to mute. The story is always interesting. Philosopher at 14:20 :) By the way - amazing progression of a climber - 6,5 years and a world top...

This is a good video. Some days I go out with a friend or 2 and we just talk crap to each other all day and dont send. This shows the heart of that quite a bit. Any day out in nature is a great day. Thanks.

What an awesome film. Especially the sound of David's breathing when he 'feels' that he is going to top the boulder. You just feel the adrenaline and excitement. Wow. Sweaty hands of the Pavlov effect

Dave's the type of climber i wanna be as i slowly improve. Smiling directly after falling on the last move of a longtime project. Great filming, loved the lack of audio, and hearing the breathing of Dave, actually super interesting to hear where he clenches and holds his breath.
