Anyways, this guy (David Ford) deserves more recognisation tbh.

I'm almost certain this guys music, which is actually quite lovely, inspired Tyler slightly.

tyler's biggest inspo for self-titled (and honestly later Trench) was probably death cab for cutie. you can hear a lot of that inspo in the album Transatlanticism in particular.

In my own opinion today artists like David Ford are/should be much more respected for not choosing to give in to the mainstream artist/ bands which become puppets. on a string. From what i can see he makes his music and puts his emotion into it as an outlet for his feelings, NOT for the glory, fame and money that goes with being a sell out. I have full un-dyeing respect for David Ford and all other Musicians like himself.

a masterpiece - beautiful - honest - eloquent.... perfect!!! I can't think of anything that sums up this song (and all of his songs) as well as just perfect...... he's a wonder, truly and utterly, there is magic in the air when you hear his voice ringing out - especially live, his music awakens something in your heart that lies dormant otherwise.......

when ford sings a song, to listen is to be enlightened, moved, or just simply in a state of awe.

It should be. He released 3 new EPs "Pages torn from the Electrical Sketchbook" I think this is on the second one but I'd advise getting them all, especially the 3rd one for Hurricane and Demons (a song from his old band)

"why is he not picked up by labels"He's not mainstream.Yes i feel he is a severely underrated artist but he's everything the record companies hate.(he's an individual),I found Slipknot said it best when a reporter asked "why do you have goat logos on your jumpsuits" the instant reply was from Shawn Crahan "Because, we are not a bunch of sheep following a flock" Davids opinionated lyrics and unique style scare record labels that they might not make money of something so "different"
