Dear Debbie Carden, about this energy I wanted to say ... in this video public holds his breath until when David finish .... and breathe after he plays the last musical note ... the applause start after a few seconds after David finished playing .... Debbie Carden Debbie Carden Yes.... We were talking the other day about Davids "musical trances", or how he goes into his own "music world" sometimes when he plays. I think in this...it was the audience that has to come out of the trance. Ioana Catalina Ioana Catalina Debbie Carden yeeeees... the piece is very sensitive and David understood very well the spirit.... He said that he learned how to perform George Enescu from Ida Haendel which showed him the special spirit of Enescu's music .... Debbie Carden Debbie Carden She taught him many things....and I think also he was just at that age (12,13,14 yrs.) when he probably had questions about life experience too....and she may have helped with some basic life questions also. I mean only in a mentor role of course.... He always seems to have such a affinity, and much love for her.. She is a excellent player !
