Since the VCR had not been invented yet in the early 1970s, someone had to be lucky enough to turn on their TV at the right time -- or spot the listing for Frank's performance in "TV Guide." With KZbin and all the other streaming technologies nowadays, this generation can watch Frank as much as we want -- so maybe WE are the lucky ones. Cheers.

After 1960 franks voice wasn’t the same and Dean and Sam became more of the leading voices of the Rat pack. My dad made a keen observation on Frank. He would say that Sinatra’s pronunciation was always always always clear. No slurring of any words. Always. Listen to each word and how he says it in every song. It’s always clear and precise. Like an English teacher. My dad learned a bit of English from Frank. lol

Every time I hear frank I think of my late grandfather. He's been gone 20yrs and would be 102 today. Had a console record player from the 70s in the hallway and my grandparents and whenever we came in for a holiday or other gathering frank sinatra was ALWAYS playing!

Happy Birthday to the Chairman of the Board. Although the man is no longer with us, the spirit and the legend lives on. I loved his music, his movies and the man. Thank you Mr. Sinatra for all the wonderful memories. Most importantly how to do it "MY WAY". GOD BLESS YOU.
