Pastor, you are one of a few who are willing to speak The Straight Truth. So many do not want to hear it. I search for your sermons and listen to them over and over - so grateful you are willing to be about our Father's business - sharing God's word - giving the people informed consent. I like how you do not mince words. So many want soft, nice, comfortable words. I like to listen to those who speak to make people uncomfortable and put a mirror in front of our faces so we can see that which needs to be changed. If we are not willing to change then we will be lost. Blessings upon you and your family. May God continue to bless your ministry.

The real Change of our doctrine is the changing of Fundamental Principle no. 1 of (FP 1889) that states '' There is One God, a personal spiritual being'' to ''One God in Three Person or Trinity'' of FB 1981. . Original SDAs were nontrinitarians. .They came from trinitarian churches and left Trinity and Sunday of the Papacy. . .

I guess I don’t want to keep this going. The argument could be made that the two statements are less dogmatic. Imminent is sooner than near. My only point is that his statements are just false. There has been no official rejection of Ellen White’s inspiration, nor has the church decided Christ isn’t coming soon. Anything beyond that is just semantics. And he just made up the statement that employees would be fired if they didn’t believe the new wording.

The Changing Image of Spiritism It is true that spiritualism is now changing its form and, veiling some of its more objectionable features, is assuming a Christian guise. Most of your presentation has been a real blessing. However I was at the 2015 General Conference Session. I never heard that the world church no longer believes in the eminent return of Jesus, nor in the inspiration of the Spirit of Prophecy. I do not believe this happened. If it did, it is your obligation to provide verifiable proof. We are to prove all things, hold fast that which is good. I can’t accept it just because someone says it. I still hear General Conference leaders preaching Jesus soon return and proclaiming the urgency that we distribute the book Great Controversy.

The second coming of Christ is the blessed hope of the church, the grand climax of the gospel. The Saviour’s coming will be literal, personal, visible, and worldwide. When He returns, the righteous dead will be resurrected, and together with the righteous living will be glorified and taken to heaven, but the unrighteous will die. The almost complete fulfillment of most lines of prophecy, together with the present condition of the world, indicates that Christ’s coming is near. His assertion is that thr GC changed our position from Christ's return being "imminent" to its merely being "near." There is a significanr difference between those two words. If not, why change it?

Also, as regards our position on Ellen's writings, here is the change that was made: Our former position stated: "As the Lord's messenger her writings are a continuous and authoritative source of truth which provide for the Church comfort, guidence, instruction, and correction." The church's current position states: "Her writing speak with prophetic authority, and provide comfort, guidence, instruction, and correction." Again, if there was no significant change, why change it at all?

Neither of the changes needed to be made. But neither implies what he said they did. I believe his insinuation is twisting the statement. He even indicated employees could loose their employment if they didn’t agree. I agree with both statements in both cases. There is no reason to ascribe evil intent.
