Maybe in the past he was so quiet because with all that facial surgery it hurt to talk or so much as twitch an eye -OR- he was all shot up with Botox and simply couldn't talk. All kidding aside, David Gest has a great colorful if eccentric personality and it's good to see him be himself again and get away from the evil lures of Hollywood and show business. I"m sre he's still connected to the business but you know what I'm saying. I'd love to see him get involved with the show TMZ.
