That's the ORIGINAL 'Time' video Pink Floyd used back in the day! It's so good to see it again, I saw them five times, and yes..I'm seeing David this time.
@EricLongo-h2h2 күн бұрын
I've been seeing him/him/them for decades. Every tour to hit NYC and the area. When have "they" or "he" NOT used this video apart from things like K.A.O.S. or the 1999 In The Flesh (Waters can't use them)? I saw this same video in '94 when the album was done in entirety as part of the Division Bell Tour. It was used in Pompeii just a few years ago by Gilmour. Perhaps not the complete video but I am not sure this is complete either compared to when it was first shown in 1974. The same video was also shown in Nassau Coliseum during the filming of those shows for The Delicate Sound of Thunder video. So I don't know what you are saying. This solo is very new (finally), the video on the screen is not...

Always so good to see and hear David Gilmour. And now taking it forward with Romany Gilmour exhibiting great talent and presence. I'm hoping David's voice was temporarily strained and has not been permanently impacted. No matter - it's still great music and very enjoyable.

Watch his latest shows in Italy. He has lost the capacity to sing . His voice cracks and fails at the wrong moment quite often.His guitar playing now lacks ideas and fire.

@@MisterTMH He sure was something when young wasn't he? Perhaps guitar ideas are not happening now but his playing sure is. Me as well. There’s something magical and emotional about it. As a guitar player, I can say you can’t get that tone without the pedals he used (save nothing about his amazing playing ability!). I do look forward to the new live versions when he tours. He seems to keep one or two things the same, and the rest of the solo changes. I think the only ones he still plays note fore note are the first solos in “Money” and “Comfortably Numb”.

I really want to see him, as I get the sense this will likely be his last tour. Ticket are over $200 for cheap seats, though. And as much as I really like the new album, and some of his solo work, it’s the Floyd songs I want to hear most. And even though he did an about face (pun intended), he still is only playing a handful of Floyd songs. I don’t think he’s playing “Wish You Were Here” or “Shine on You Crazy Diamond” (I could be wrong, but I’ve not seen it yet), and I know I’d be disappointed not to hear them.
